Let's take a moment to reflect on Governor Perry's governor term. We all know that Perry is super conservative maybe even more than George Bush! Well he also doesn't like homosexuals, doesn't agree with Federal government programs and doesn't like social security. Well what does he like? People who agree with his views and back him up in his decisions. Perry has caused Texas to be in major debt and the education status in Texas has become of the worst in the nation. But how does all this really affect us? Well for one we the people are the taxpayers and guess who has to make up that debt? We do. The rate of people in Texas who have a high school diploma has diminished and most of the jobs are therefore minimum wage jobs.

The latest issue I read about was the impeachment of a regent at the University of Texas. He is being accused of wrongly handling school official records and papers. Of course he was appointed by Perry and stands by him 100% but the legislature and seriously considering bringing him to trial and impeaching him. The legislature rarely does this and it could bring backlash from Perry. After seeing him veto a bill for the courts because of Lehmburg's nasty behavior after being arrested. He is in the eye of Texas for now to see how he handles the allegations of abuse of power. Although he has been thinking about running for president again, this just gives him the attention he'll need to run. Well whoever wins I hope does a better job than Perry. Leave the drama and get things done thats what Texas needs!
