In Wendy Davis' loot the author Harold Cook analyzes the amount of money raised by both parties running for Texas Governor. The blog is found in Letters from Texas and its a liberal site in favor of Wendy Davis and her campaign for governor. The argument in this blog is that the republicans are against the new statistics showing Wendy Davis raising more money than republican rival Greg Abbot. The author analyzes the argument by stating that Wendy Davis effort to raise money and putting towards an association that will eventually help her in her running is completely acceptable to add it into the total fundraising amount. The author is trying to reach out to the audience in support of Wendy Davis and trying to refute the arguments made to keep Davis' reputation clean and keep the support coming. The website is a liberal site so the expected comments would be in favor of liberal candidates and issues being talked about. Harold Cook's background states that he is "humorous look at politics and current events, as seen through the eyes of a progressive Texan in a bad mood." His credibility could be argued and may not be very believable. Cook's way of proving his point is by showing a flyer to a fundraising event in which the money would go to the argued Commitee. His other arguments were his own arguments although he never gave credible sources. I can't choose a side because I see no evidence but the money in these two campaigns shouldn't matter as much as the actual issues that they are advocating. That is what will win the race.
